Our organization is carrying out emergency relief, with the total sum of about 100,000USD, focusing on the Donggala region damaged by the Indonesian earthquake.
On the September 30th, our organization sent an on-site team to the affected area. The field team worked with the Indonesian government to investigate the local situation, necessary supplies, and discussed emergency relief activities, including assistance for relief supplies.
We dispatched 500 sanitary kits (soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, diapers, sanitary napkins, blankets, towels, etc.) and 150 household tents on the 8th and 9th of this month after dispatching an on-site team. In the future, we will continue to identify the needs and continue provide support.
In Indonesia, more than 2,000 people have been killed and more than 80,000 people have been displaced from their homes. We are struggling to find missing persons due to low accessibility from damaged roads and bridges.
