Afghanistan

Since 2002, Good Neighbors Afghanistan has been actively working in Afghanistan as a humanitarian and development aid agency, mainly targeting women and children who are deprived of their basic rights. We have been working for especially the poor (rights-holders) through programs in several sectors, including emergency relief, medical support, education and training programs, WASH, community development, rehabilitation and women empowerment, in order to enhance their capacities and to achieve major improvements in their lives that are sustainable without ongoing support from us.

Bangladesh

Good Neighbors Bangladesh is a humanitarian and development agency. Our greatest mission is to improve the lives of others especially those of children through education, community and woman development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects. Good Neighbors Bangladesh started in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1996 with the sole purpose of giving disadvantaged children a glimmer of hope. Currently, we work in 14 areas across the country, supporting approximately 20,500 children and 18,500 families to improve their lives. We implement development aid and network with other organizations in Bangladesh. We are also partner with the government, international aid agencies, and local communities for advocacy on raising public awareness while recruiting and training volunteers and professionals.

Indonesia

Good Neighbors Indonesia had been formally established and registered as a local organization in Indonesia since 2009 under the local name Yayasan Gugah Nurani Indonesia. We have been working in 17 sites in 10 provinces through CDP (Community Development Project). The provinces where Good Neighbors Indonesia has been working are Aceh, North Sumatera, West Sumatera, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Jogjakarta, East Java, South Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.

In implementing our development program at community, we have been working together with all stakeholders at grass root level such sub distric leader, village leader and also with Community Development Committee (CDC). CDC is GNI’s key partner in future for our sustainability approach and strategy. At national level, Good Neighbors Indonesia has built a remarkable relationship with related Ministries as well as has been in close collaboration with CSOs.

Sri Lanka

Good Neighbors Sri Lanka has been working in Sri Lanka since the disastrous aftermath of the Tsunami in 2004. Through the ongoing support, Good Neighbors Sri Lanka is supporting 3 Community Development Projects in Anuradhapura District, Puttalam District and rathnapura District, mainly in the areas of Child Development and Livelihood Development. 4,500 children and 2,900 families are directly benefiting from ongoing projects. While Good Neighbors Sri Lanka is primarily working for child development, communities are also facilitated with alternative ways of income to gain self-sufficiency.

Tajikistan

Good Neighbors Tajikistan started for supporting civil war orphans in Dushanbe. Now We are supporting more than 12,000 children in 16 regions through regular sponsors and conducts various projects for community development. Good Neighbors Tajikistan expects to promote self-reliance of community and make children and local people live in better life.
In 2016, Good Neighbors Tajikistan becomes a member of the REACT group which manages and involves disaster response and emergency relief. Cameroon

Good Neighbors Cameroon (GNCMR) began work in Cameroon in 2014. We assist rural and urban communities through child sponsorship and community development projects like construction of schools, hospitals and water points in villages or regions deprived of these basic facilities. We carry out WASH education, as well as help people displaced by Boko Haram insurgencies in the Far North borders of Cameroon. We equally assist special cases of abject poverty and social degradation. In most cases, our partners are administrative representatives and community members not forgetting the UNHCR.

South Sudan

Good Neighbors International began to operate in South Sudan in 2013. For supporting victims during the Genocide in 1994, Good Neighbors international began work in Rwanda. We have been expended our operations in 4 districts (Gasabo, Kamony, Gisagara, Nyamagabe). Today, we deliver various projects to support the most vulnerable children and their families and promote community-driven development in urban and rural areas.

Zambia

Good Neighbors Zambia was established in 2012 and has since embarked on a mission to extend its services to the vulnerable communities of Zambia. Chile

Good Neighbors Chile arrived to provide emergency aid to those suffered by the earthquake of February 27 of 2010 in Chile. And from 2011, we established the organization to start a project to promote invaluable human rights. We try to approach aims to protect children's rights and promote community development in 6 communities; Pudahuel, Valparaíso, El Carmen, Hualañe, Paso Nevado and Temuco. Good Neighbors Chile work to achieve a lasting and sustainable change through fundraising activities. Besides, we build partnerships with local governments.

Good Neighbors Dominican Republic field office was installed in 2011, after the response of Good Neighbors International as the result of the earthquake that occurred in Haiti. Guatemala

Good Neighbors Guatemala has started its community development projects from 2008 to support Guatemalan people who are suffer from poverty and disasters. Our projects are focusing on right-based approach and community empowerment to achieve sustainable development. Good Neighbors Guatemala currently operates in 87 communities serving 13,923 children and their family and collaborating with more than 50,000 community members. In addition, international development agency, local government and academic institutions are willingly getting involved in our movement to generate a bigger positive impact in Guatemalan society.

Good Neighbors Haiti began work in Haiti in 2010 since earthquake. Head Office is Located in the capital city of Haiti, Port-au-Prince. Good Neighbors Nicaragua established in Nicaragua in 2015, We are assisting children and community members which are undermined and in extreme poverty in Jinotepe, Carazo. These communities face many issues of Water and Sanitation, Education and Health, where primary public school environment are deteriorated in the borderline of collapsing. Our Priority is to improve our children’s life and their communities through the implementation of our various programs to cooperate with community committee.
