CHURCH EVENT RAISES $5,000 TOWARD NEW WELL IN MALAWI
All Nations Church, located in Lake View Terrace, CA, hosted a special service in early March focusing on Good Neighbors’ Water For Life project. Special guest speaker Sarah Choi (above photo, right), who traveled with our staff on a trip to Chad, Africa in November to build water wells, spoke about witnessing firsthand how clean water dramatically changes lives. All Nations Church has since raised $5,000 toward a new water well in Malawi, and is currently fundraising to cover the remaining $2,875 needed (the total cost of a Malawi well is $7,875). $3.7M IN APPAREL DONATED TO GOOD NEIGHBORS INTERNATIONAL
Sports apparel company Goldwin Korea recently donated $3.7 million in apparel to Good Neighbors International. Donated items included winter jackets, hiking shoes, gloves, hats, and socks from popular brand North Face. These items will be shipped to field offices in Mongolia and Tajikistan, where winters can reach temperatures of 40° below fahrenheit. Good Neighbors is very grateful for this generous donation, which will help many families through these difficult winter months.
