Rewriting India's Future Through Education

Good Neighbors is in the unique position of being both a funding and implementing organization in India. As such, we have focused our energy, resources, and time to address the educational needs of the children. Currently, our projects in India reach out to over 1000 children and their families, supplying day care, health care, nutrition and educational projects.

With these projects, we are actively providing quality education and health care as well as combating the effects of student dropouts from school.  These two goals improve the quality of life of the community as a whole.

With the help of generous sponsors like you, we were able to construct and establish a new school for the children of the community.  This allows us to expand our services in reaching the under privileged children.

In the coming months, it is our goal to start two new projects and continually increase the number of sponsored children.  The needs of the families are heightened in this community and the population of children in the area is formidable.  There is still much to do and still other segments of the population to reach. Notably, the needs of the nomadic indigenous population still must be addressed. We will continually address the needs of the community, impacting the children in ways both visible and tangible.
