Millennium Development Goals (The MDGs)

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight international development goals that 192 United Nations member states and at least 23 international organizations have agreed to achieve by the year 2015. They include reducing extreme poverty, reducing child mortality rates, fighting epidemics, and developing a global partnership for societal development.

Appointed General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), Good Neighbors is a representative organization and participates in the movement to eradicate poverty with other worldwide development NGOs.

Good Neighbors was recognized with an award from the United Nations in 2007 for our work to eliminate poverty through our dedication to providing universal primary education.
