| The Facts: |
| 1.1 billion people without drinking water. |
| 3 million children die annually from water-born epidemics. |
| That's one child every 8 seconds. |
| A lack of clean, potable water presents a number of problems for local communities in Africa. Children are often sent out to collect water from muddy puddles or nearby rivers, which prevents children from receiving a proper primary education and has the ancillary effect of sickening anybody who drinks the water. Such water is also used for washing dishes and sanitation purposes, which further spreads the incidence of illness. |

| We can do something about it. For $3,000, a groundwater well can be installed, which produces enough fresh, clean water to last a village of 4,000 people for up to ten years. With the help of a variety of donors, we've sponsored the construction of five wells in various regions in the country of Chad, which has immensely improved the living situation of thousands of people, but we still need help. Supporting "Water For Life" by sponsoring a well or buying a WFL T-shirt will help us fulfill our goals of having a well installed in all of the projected regions of Chad. |

Buy a Water For Life T-shirt. A percentage of the proceeds go towards the sponsorship of a well in Chad, Africa. |
