Good Neighbors Psycho-Social Support Kit (PSS) distribution for Bangladesh

In the current pandemic situation over the globe, Good Neighbors is supporting various programs in response to the COVID-19. Specifically, we are concerned about our children’s mental health, who should have stayed at home during school closures.

Good Neighbors’ Psycho-Social Support (PSS) kits, named Good Mind Kit, were distributed to the children in Bangladesh this January. GN Bangladesh delivered the kits to 4,811 children in the Mirpur Community Development Project (CDP), Guishan CDP, Gjatao CDP, Shakhipur CDP, and Moulvibazar CDP. This Kit is composed of coloring books, crayons, clays, and board games, and other stationaries that help children ease the lockdown tension by playing at home and in the community.

Many children reportedly have been experiencing negative feelings during the lockdown, by which they stay at home with limited outdoor activities. Good Neighbors hopes that we see the smile of our children again with the Good Mind Kit.
