Good Neighbors International Afghanistan is a registered humanitarian and development organization. Since 2002, we have coordinate emergency relief, medical programs, and women’s empowerment through education and training programs, as well as community development projects. Our goal is to enhance the capacities of individuals and groups, rights-holders, employees, and civil society organizations to meet the opportunities and challenges of a changing Afghanistan.
From the beginning, we have focused on health and education programs, mainly targeting women and girls as the core beneficiaries. Later, the program expanded to include additional intervention areas such as water, sanitation, hygiene, and emergency relief.
Good Neighbors has primarily been working in the Kabul, Kunar, and Kapisa provinces but has extended its reach to more provinces such as Badakhshan, Paktika, Nangarhar, Herat, and others for emergency relief during humanitarian crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to supporting people living in poverty in cooperation with international partners and local to national-level organizations. We engage with the government, civil society organizations, and stakeholders to achieve our mission.
