Six students are taking their first step from the classroom into the workplace as Good Neighbors Pakistan and Hamsaaya officially launched the 2026 Summer Internship Program in Islamabad.
This year, Good Neighbors Pakistan and Hamsaaya are proud to welcome students from Pakistan Global Institute (PGI), representing diverse academic disciplines including BS Computer Science, Data Management, and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). For these bright young minds, the internship is a gateway to experience a professional working environment while developing practical knowledge and workplace skills.
Interns will work on real assignments and organizational initiatives, allowing them to strengthen their technical competencies, enhance their professional skills, and gain hands-on experience through meaningful engagement with project stakeholders. Every assignment becomes a chance to grow.
For us at Good Neighbors Pakistan and Hamsaaya, empowering young people is an important investment in building stronger communities and future leaders. The internship is designed not only to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice but also to encourage innovation, teamwork, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
And the journey doesn’t end when the internship does. Following successful completion, participants will join the GN Volunteer Network, carrying their momentum forward into community-driven projects and social impact initiatives. Through this continued engagement, the organization aims to foster a new generation of compassionate, skilled, and socially responsible leaders dedicated to creating positive and sustainable change.
A warm welcome to all our interns. May this journey be filled with learning, collaboration, professional growth, and meaningful impact.
