Good Neighbors International launched its mission in India in 2009, with a commitment to transforming lives and uplifting communities through dedicated service and impactful programs. We initially focused on improving the lives of migrant, rural, ethnic, and nomadic tribe communities.
Our mission is to foster sustainable development and enhance the well-being of vulnerable children and communities. To achieve this, we emphasize holistic development through initiatives in education, health, vocational training, and community empowerment. These efforts have been concentrated in the southern region of India, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Currently, we are partnering with EFICOR (The Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief) to expand our community development initiatives.
Our primary activities revolve around community development projects that address the diverse needs of children, youth, and families. Our key areas of focus include:
Our interventions align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have contributed to SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
