Good Neighbors has been working in Pakistan since 2015 with the goal of empowering girls and women to fully exercise their right to education and build their capacities for self-reliance. The organization actively collaborates with grassroots organizations to provide basic literacy, vocational training, teacher capacity building, and child rights advocacy programs. These education-based projects aim to foster independence within communities. In addition to its educational initiatives, Good Neighbors has supported the local community during flood emergencies in Pakistan. Through various projects in the Sindh and Punjab provinces, Good Neighbors has assisted 30,000 individuals, both male and female.
We continue to support girls’ rights to education and health, as well as income-generating activities for the local community through innovative interventions. We also collaborate with government departments and local actors to support and enhance their resilience against disasters and climate calamities.
Our interventions are aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a significant focus on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 13: Climate Action.
