Good Neighbors launched its mission in South Sudan in 2013, initially responding to urgent humanitarian crises, including the armed conflict resulting from political and ethnic tensions in 2013 and the severe food crisis in 2015. Following these emergency responses, our efforts shifted towards long-term community development projects in Yei River State. These projects aim to build resilient and self-reliant communities through initiatives such as building schools and reducing disaster risks.
Currently, our focus in South Sudan is on enhancing educational opportunities for children. We improve the learning environment by providing essential school supplies, including school bags, shoes, and stationery.
