Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development NGO founded in 1991, to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony. Year 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of Good Neighbors and it is meaningful to take a leap forward for the next 30 years by looking back on the achievements from its foundation to the present.

Good Neighbors Bangladesh has been carrying out a project called ‘Building Resilience to Achieve Zero Hunger (BRAZH)’ funded by UNWFP (world Food Program) in Kurigram district, the northern part of Bangladesh, since 2018. Under BRAZH project, there are three main activities which are Forecast Based Actions (FBA), Seasonal Livelihood Programming (SLP), and Climate Risks Insurance (CRI), and a total number of 2,852 people are participating.
All Sponsorship children need to graduate from Good Neighbors’ support program when they become 18 years old. To celebrate their graduation and encourage starting a new phase of life, Good Neighbors Mongolia held a Graduation camp for Children completing the sponsorship program in Mongolia.
This project supports the livelihood of PoCs under the Emergency Evacuation Transit Mechanism (ETM) and helps them to learn job skills through vocational trainings. In 2017, UNHCR established ETM to evacuate and facilitate the processing of the most vulnerable refugees trapped in detention in Libya.
